"My bag certainly changed from course to course during this event. The discs that I used were Saint Pro, Giant, Striker, Cutlass, Harp, Compass, Enforcer, Shield, Gauntlet, Warship, Fury and Spark. I want to say congrats to such a strong Team Latitude 64°, Dynamic Discs and Westside Discs at this event. I truly enjoyed the feel of our disc golf family here. Big shout out to Pat Brown for a strong finish and only throwing the plastic for a few months and Pat Whelen on his win. Great job everyone", JohnE says.
Ricky Wysocki from Team 64° also finished in the top 10 with a great final round of -13. He ended up in sixth place only one shot behind McCray.
In the Masters division Patrick Brown played strong all week and finished in 2nd place only beat by Ken Climo. This is only more impressive considering that Patrick has only played with swedish plastic for mere months. It will be interesting to see what he can do as confidence grows with his new gear from Latitude 64°.
Rebecca Heiam is one of our many talented team players that work hard to someday compete for titles against the best in the world. She played in the amateur tournament at Memorial and it seems that her hard work is paying off. She consistently played over her rating and with a great final round she managed to grab the win in Advanced Women.
"I was down 4 strokes going into the final round and shot the hot round of 60 at Fountain Hills. I ended up making up 5 strokes during that round to win by 1 stroke overall", Heiam says.
Pat Whelan from Team Westside Discs won the Advanced Men division.
