Two players from Team Latitude 64° managed to make their dream come true.
Valerie Mandujano won Junior I Girls in big style 35 shots ahead of the runner up and Valeire is now a 3 x World Champion.
"I used my River for hyzer flipping shots. My Trespass for my straight shots, my Bolt for long turnovers, my Convict for straight to stable shots and my Judge for putts and the worked great all week", Valerie says.
For Logan Fiske in Junior I Boys it was a battle. Before the final 9 holes he was sitting in 2nd place one shot behind the leader Nicholas Duran. But he
"This was my first time playing in a World Championship and I had an incredible time. On the second hole in the finals I hit a 100ft jump putt for eagle to pick up a stroke and tie it up. I took the lead on the following hole and then he gained the stroke back. We remained tied until the 8th hole when I picked up a stroke, on the 9th and final hole I birdied and he parred, giving me the victory in the MJ1 division in the 2016 Amateur and Junior World Championships. Blak e Morain and I also won the 19u Doubles World Championship the Saturday before the tournament. My go to discs throughout the week were my Fuzion Enforcers, Opto Stilettos, Opto Compasses, BT Soft Harp, and my Medium Mercys. Without them I wouldn't be a world champion", Logan says.
