"Not so many tournament highlights for me so far. But I got to play in Scandinavian Open 2015 and not to be the last was an achievement for me. Being accepted in Team L64° and to be able to promote the sport even more is probably the highlight of my career so far.

Welcome to Team Latitude 64°! How do you like it so far?
– I am honored to be able to represent Team Latitude 64°. Because I started this sport in my late 30´s I never though something like this would be possible. It has been amazing right from the start.
What made you decide to partner up with Latitude 64°?
I have been a member of the Team Trilogy Finland for a few years now. Through Team Trilogy I have learned that there is really amazing spirit among people who play disc golf.
Soon after I started playing I realized that there is more for me in disc golf than just a hobby. It became a lifestyle a good one too. I want to tell about disc golf to people around me and by being a representative for something like L64° makes it even more fun and inspiring. Many beginners know the big brands Innova & Discraft but I want to tell them that there are other options too. And by representing Latitude64°, playing with their & wiht Trilogy plastic I am telling that I really mean it. And of course I want to be in a team for a manufacturer that makes the best plastics in the world.
What are your thoughts on the discs so far?
– I think it is the best plastic that there is. I really like the huge variety of molds, there is one for everybody. No matter if you just started throwing or if you are a touring pro.
What is your next tournament?
– My first sanctioned tournament in 2016 will be the Ainon Päivän Kisa III and the next after that is Perämeri Open 2016, both in May. There is a slight chance that I could play a tournament already in April too..
What are your plans for next season?
– I would like to get my rating 935+ this year, and I know I can do that I just have to play good solid rounds. This year I´m going to tour in Finland as much as I can and beside that I´m going to take a part in my clubs junior player program. We want to introduce this sport to young players, set up weekly training sessions and encourage them to play in tournaments. And because the European Championships are in my hometown Oulu this year, I´ll be working there too.
